How can I get my dog in his crate?

Every night when I try and get my dog into his crate he freaks out and starts snarling and biting at whoever is trying to get him in. We cant leave.

is it a good idea to use for stopping my dog from biting his leash?

is it a good idea for me to spray those dog sprays on his leash and my clothing to get him to stop chewing and biting on them?
